Booster Shots for COVID-19

IF you were vaccinated with Pfizer, AND it has been 6 months since you had your second COVID-19 vaccine, you may be eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot.  The following persons are now eligible to receive Pfizer COVID-19 boosters:

  • Persons 65 years and older
  • Long-term care facility workers
  • Persons aged 18-64 w/underlying health conditions

Good Neighbor will be offering these boosters at the walk-in clinics each Wednesday.  Persons wishing to have a booster shot should discuss any underlying health conditions or concerns with their primary care provider.  At this time, persons 18-64 with occupational risk are NOT approved for the Pfizer booster.

The CDC does not recommend, and has not approved, mixing vaccine types (i.e. Moderna with Pfizer as a booster).
