Behavioral Health Coordinator

Good Neighbor Community Health Center is seeking a mission driven clinician to join our Behavioral Health Team! The Behavioral Health Coordinator would provide direct care to patients and clients while providing oversight/supervision and training to clinicians and caseworkers for the unit. The candidate will be required to monitor and complete funding requirements and reporting associated with varied funding sources.

Requirements

The Behavioral Health Coordinator must have their Master’s degree in a mental health related field such as psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family counseling. This position also requires current and unrestricted licensing in the State of Nebraska as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, or Clinical Psychologist.

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience leading and supervising teams.
  • Some knowledge of third-party billing requirements, such as Medicaid and other insurances.
  • Knowledge of licensing requirements and processes.
  • Demonstrated clinical decision-making skills appropriate to client care and safety.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health record systems.
